Sandwich of Terrrrrific

It's a really good thing that I ran out of ingredients, or I could have gone on making these mini-sandwiches and eating them until I exploded.

thin slice of light-flavored homemade bread, lightly toasted
+ olive tapenade

+ cucumbers
+ fresh mozzarella
+ salt, black and red pepper
+ tons of fresh basil
+ more fresh mozzarella
+ more fresh basil
+ thin tomato slice
+ olive tapenade
thin slice of light-flavored homemade bread, lightly toasted

I wrapped the whole thing in foil and warmed it until the mozz was melty. I tried not to moan too loudly.

This was also an awesome day in noms, since the mini-sandwich of terrific was preceded by a breakfast of ultra-crispy cheddar cheese and mustard toast with FARM FRESH RASPBERRIES, and a bowl of laughing planet beans/rice/veg with sri racha and homemade yogurt for the main meal, and followed by a spiced coffee and cinnamon toast for teatime, and a midnight snack of ryvita crackers, apple, cheddar cheese, and passable chardonnay. Every day needs to be like this.
